What we say — and what it means
- "A CV or résumé for one application, written from your whole LinkedIn profile and the job advert." The app reads your LinkedIn profile PDF in full, with any example CVs and facts you add, and the advert you bring. Each CV is written for one advert.
- "Every figure traced back to your own documents. Anything we cannot trace is flagged, not invented." After writing, a program — not an AI — checks every money figure, percentage, quantity, year, qualification, employer and job title against your profile, your facts and your example CVs. Anything it cannot find is sent back to be corrected, or listed for you under "Verify before sending". Your ATS report lists each figure in the CV and the line of your own documents it came from.
- "One model writes; models from other AI providers check it for fabrication and missing keywords." Every CV is written by Claude Fable 5.1 and checked by GPT-6.1 Sol and Gemini 4 Argon, whatever your level. The checkers check every version independently, and every model scores the finished document. Their scores and comments are on your ATS report, side by side.
- "Fitted to exactly two pages of Word, then scored against our own 100-point ATS rubric." The rubric is published in full below. It models how applicant tracking systems read and rank a CV. It does not predict any employer's decision, and no score guarantees an interview.
- "No subscription. One price per application." Early careers: £39.00 inc. VAT for the CV or résumé, £59.00 inc. VAT with a cover letter; Mid-career: £49.00 inc. VAT for the CV or résumé, £69.00 inc. VAT with a cover letter; Senior level: £99.00 inc. VAT for the CV or résumé, £139.00 inc. VAT with a cover letter. The LinkedIn profile rewrite is £29.00 inc. VAT more. Your level is set by your years in work, read from your LinkedIn profile. The CV or résumé: £39 at Early careers, £49 at Mid-career and £99 at Senior level. Introductory prices until 23:59 UK time on Monday 30 November 2026; from 1 December 2026, £49, £75 and £149. VAT included. With a cover letter: £59 at Early careers, £69 at Mid-career and £139 at Senior level. Introductory prices until 23:59 UK time on Monday 30 November 2026; from 1 December 2026, £79, £99 and £199. VAT included.
- "Not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn." LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. You export your own profile as a PDF; the app never signs in to LinkedIn.
The 100-point ATS rubric
Every version of your CV is scored by the same program, the same way. Every number is a real count from your document. Two checks that a program cannot make reliably are marked for your own review, and say so.
Keywords — 60 points
The advert is read into four tiers of terms: A must-haves, B strong signals, C supporting and D nice to have. Each term found in the CV counts its tier's weight — A 4, B 3, C 2, D 1. The weighted share found earns up to 52 points. Then:
- +4 when the advert's job title is in the CV's headline;
- +2 when five or more Tier A terms are in the profile section;
- +2 when three or more Tier B terms are in the career highlights;
- minus one point for each use of a term beyond 8, up to 6 points — keyword stuffing is penalised.
Floors: at least 80% of Tier A terms, 60% of Tier B, 50% of Tier C and 25% of Tier D. A CV that misses any floor is capped at 69 overall, however well it scores elsewhere.

Hard gates
Ten things that make an applicant tracking system misread a CV. Failing any one marks the CV REJECT, whatever its score: a Word (.docx) file; no text boxes or floating objects; no content in tables; a single-column body; a contact block a machine can read; exactly two pages (predicted from Word's own page geometry); standard section headings; a dated chronology; nothing that cannot be traced to your documents; and text that every system can read.
A further 44-point extended check — layout, parsing and presentation details — is shown on the report beside the 100-point score, never added to it.
Our redo policy
- A figure we cannot trace. If your finished CV, cover letter or LinkedIn rewrite states a figure, date, qualification, employer or title that is not in your LinkedIn profile, your facts or your example CVs — and you did not ask for it — write to support@edgelitcv.com within 30 days, quoting the CV's reference. We correct it and re-run that version at no charge.
- A run that does not finish. Press Try again on the CV page. It costs nothing, and work already done is kept.
- A part left out. If your cover letter or LinkedIn rewrite could not be written, the CV page offers "Write it again", at no charge.
- The redo policy is in addition to your statutory rights; it does not cover changes of mind about wording, which are what the rounds of changes are for.
Confidentiality — for senior candidates
- Who processes your documents. AI models from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google: Anthropic, directly through its own API, which does not train on the data, and may be processed outside the UK and EU (a US résumé's stay in the US); OpenAI and Google, through OpenRouter, processed in its European region (except Gemini 4 Argon, which that region does not offer and which is called through OpenRouter's global routing) — its US region for a US résumé, routed only to providers that do not train on the data. Payments are taken by Stripe, which never receives a CV or anything used to make one. The site is hosted by Hostinger.
- No training. None of the AI providers may use your documents to train their models: each is used under terms that forbid it, and calls through OpenRouter go only to providers that neither store nor train on them.
- Never shown or sold. Your documents are never sold, published, or shown to employers, recruiters or anyone else. Within EdgelitCV, only the site owner can open them — to support you, to investigate a fault or misuse, or when the law requires it.
- How long they are kept. A licensed CV and everything used to make it are kept with the licence record for six years from payment, then deleted. An unpaid CV is kept until you delete it. Documents in My documents stay until you delete them, except those a licensed CV used.
- Learning without your data. The app learns general writing lessons from how CVs are checked. Every lesson is screened, and any that contains a name, employer, place, figure, link or wording from a CV is thrown away. You can object at any time and your CVs will be left out.
- Your rights. You can see, export and delete your account and its data. The full detail is in the privacy policy; the licence is in the terms.
