Who we are
EdgelitCV is a trading name of Architecture & Engineering Services Ltd, registered in England and Wales, Company No. 10723123, registered office 17 Pershore Place, Coventry CV4 7BZ. We are the controller of the information described here. You can reach us at support@edgelitcv.com.
What we keep
- Your email address.
- Your first name and the tier you picked, if you gave them.
- The date and time you registered, and that you ticked the consent box.
To stop automated sign-ups, we also keep a scrambled (keyed hash) form of your connection's internet address for one hour, and then delete it. We do not keep your internet address with your registration.
Why, and on what basis
We use your details for one thing: to send you one email when EdgelitCV opens. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box. We do not use your details for anything else, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone for their own use.
Who handles them for us
- Hostinger, which hosts this website and our email, stores the list and the notification email on our behalf.
- When you register, our support mailbox receives a notification. We use Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic, to help us manage that mailbox, so it may read that notification. It acts only on our instructions.
How long we keep them
Until we have sent the email to say EdgelitCV is open, and then for no more than three months, after which we delete them. If EdgelitCV has not opened within twelve months of your registering, we delete them then. If you create an account when we open, the privacy notice for the service covers that account.
Your rights
You can withdraw your consent, ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct them or ask us to delete them at any time. Email support@edgelitcv.com from the address you registered with. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113.
Cookies and what this site stores
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising. Its fonts are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact any other company to show the page.
If you switch the sound on, your browser remembers that choice on your device so the sound stays on as you move around the site. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us. Our web host keeps standard server logs, including internet addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
